MMI & Circuit Recording Consent

Last updated 27 August 2026.

What we record

When you complete an MMI or Circuit station in video mode, we record your webcam video and microphone audio for that station. Written-response stations record only your typed text.

Why we record it

Recordings are reviewed by a practising doctor so they can assess your actual response (content, structure and delivery) rather than a summary of it, and so you can review your own performance.

Who can access a recording

Recordings are visible to you, and to the doctor assigned to review that station. They are not shared with any university, testing authority, or third party, and a linked parent or guardian account never has access to recordings.

How long we keep recordings

Recordings are retained for the duration of your active enrolment plus a reasonable period afterward to handle review queries, then deleted or de-identified, except where you request earlier deletion and no active review is pending.

Your consent

Starting a video station requires you to actively grant camera and microphone permission in your browser, and the platform shows a clear recording indicator for the duration of the station. You can complete eligible stations in written mode instead if you would prefer not to be recorded.

Withdrawing consent

You can request deletion of a specific recording at any time by contacting us, noting that a recording already reviewed and reflected in a published report cannot be un-reviewed.
